Research

Efficient Prediction of Alzheimer’s disease from Multimodal Image Data with Combination of Different Types of Classification Process

The Research proposed a novel combination of well-known and efficient methods are introduced for efficient diagnosis of (AD). Structural MRI (SMRI) is a promising tool for diagnosing AD image itself measures the brain atrophy. The Histogram based threshold approach is implemented on the images to noise removal process. The segmentation process is done using Self-Organizing Map Network (SOMN) approach. The optimal minimized features are fed into an Artificial Neural Network Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), Hybrid Neuro Fuzzy Runge Kutta (HNFRK) and Extreme Machine Learning Algorithm. Among three classification process, Extreme Machine Learning Algorithm provides better results than other two classification process classifiers which classifies the prodromal stages of AD patients
